Same old sorry [censored] Raiders. McNabb and Westbrook look good.

Re: Hall of Fame Game

I think people are really looking past the eagles, they have a pretty good defense, a quarterback, and a decent run game. All of which are a good formula for success in the nfl. Just remember, they were the 2nd best team in the nfc for about 3 years before Owens ever got there. It really wouldnt surprise me if they won the East simply because they have the best quarterback in the east.

Also, I forgot to mention, my Cowboys gave FredX a workout this past week.

Also, the Eagles were like the best of the worst at that time. In the East alone the Giants, Boys, and Skins all sucked the past 5 years until last year. I think Philly finishes at best 3rd in the east.

Re: Hall of Fame Game

Yes they did but name 3 good teams in the NFC at that time. They are also a #1 seed each time, so they only had to win one game at home to get to the championship, which they lost 3 out of 4, or 4 out of 5 times.

Re: Hall of Fame Game

Without a passing game to help out their running game, the Eagles wont do jack in the NFC East.

Re: Hall of Fame Game

The thing is, they had this passing game before TO and they did well. I think they need a back that can run, Westbrook is good out of the backfield but he's never going to be a guy that you want to carry the ball gaining a yard late in the game. The biggest disadvantage to them is the rest of the NFC East has improved since they were able to not be great and win.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.

Re: Hall of Fame Game

Exactly Rock. See, I don't think the iggles have much of a running game. They have a short passing game that they use as the run, but your gonna see Westbrook with 20 touches a game and 10 of them through the air. Who else is going to carry the ball for them?
